Johnson Controls Case Study Redesign

NEED
To provide Johnson Controls with timely publication of Case Studies, which was not being maintained by the current supplier. Develop a fresh, "upgraded" look and more flexible template for Case Study documents in each of three markets and seven industries. Maintain the Johnson Controls brand image. Provide consistency in appearance and copy style, and create new corporate ID standards to be adhered to.

SOLUTION
Phoenix defined and implemented a 12-phase process used by agency and Johnson Controls' personnel to conduct each Case Study. Phoenix also designed new Case Study layouts for each market and created digital layout templates and written layout/copy guidelines.

RESULTS
Individual Case Study development time decreased from months to 45 days. Case Studies are accomplished within Johnson Controls' budget. The number of Case Studies awarded to Phoenix increased from seven in 1999 to more than 35 in consecutive years.
