GENERAC DG Series
NEED
Raise awareness for Generac and their new Distributed Generation (DG) Series product line and benefits, drive traffic to their PowerGen trade show booth and generate sales leads at the show and on their web site.

SOLUTION
Developed a “Can You DG It?” campaign theme to promote Generac and its new product line at the trade show.
The campaign included full-, half- and quarter-page ads in 4-color which ran in seven national trade publications, a three-part direct mail “teaser” campaign, booth graphics and campaign buttons. The campaign incentive included product line benefits and a chance to win a free laptop computer if you visited their booth at PowerGen or their
web site.

RESULTS
A total of 448 leads were received from show attendees and web site inquirees. Within one week of the show, each lead was sent a “thank you” letter, notifying them that a sales representative would be calling, and announcing the winner of the laptop computer. The leads are being closed by Generac sales territories.
