Aqua-Chem Corporate Brochure

NEED
Position Aqua-Chem, Inc. as a world-class manufacturer and marketer serving the energy and environment markets internationally through its divisions; design a brochure that is flexible, allowing for future acquisitions, and additional inserts and success stories; create a progressive look representative of new ownership taking the company into the future; give the “image of an annual report without the numbers.”

SOLUTION
A double-pocketed, horizontally-shaped brochure that asked the question: “Energy and Environment – Who knows how to make them work together?” on the front, outside cover, and the answer showing through a strategically placed, die-cut window on the inside left which revealed the upper righthand corner of the top sheet in a series displaying several customers of Aqua-Chem by stating “Anheuser-Busch knows,” etc. The color scheme was a solid black with corporate ID elements in metallic gold, giving the feeling of richness, corporate legitimacy and strength. Each sheet was primarily black and gold, with a rich, four-color graphic element displayed within the black field and a short explanation of Aqua-Chem’s involvement in a project for that client. On the right of the inside spread was another pocket which contained case studies of each of those stories in a more in-depth, need/solution/result format.

RESULTS
Helped position Aqua-Chem as the leader/innovator in international boiler room equipment, and water desalination and process evaporation systems with “Proven Performance.” The brochure was so well-received that department heads are also using it to promote their companies.
